By downloading, installing, or using Weqaya, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Weqaya is an AI-powered scam detection and awareness application. It allows users to scan text and images for potential scam indicators, browse a library of known scams, and participate in a community reporting system.

Disclaimer

Weqaya provides AI-based analysis for informational purposes only. Our scam detection is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. You should always exercise your own judgment and verify information independently. Weqaya is not a substitute for professional legal or financial advice.

User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page

User Content

When you submit content (scam reports, comments, "This happened to me" entries), you grant Weqaya a non-exclusive license to use this content to improve our scam database and help protect other users.

You must not post content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, or violates any applicable law.

Prohibited Uses

• Using the app to facilitate or promote scams
• Submitting false reports or spam
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or exploit the AI service
• Violating any applicable UAE or international laws

Limitation of Liability

Weqaya and its developers shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from reliance on scam analysis results.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
